Help is Available for Victorian Families Affected by Bushfires
If you’ve been affected by the recent bushfires in Victoria, I want you to know that help is available. The government and banks are working together to support families during this tough time.
Over the weekend, large parts of Victoria experienced really bad bushfires. Places like Bendigo, Gippsland, Natimuk and Harcourt were hit hard. Sadly, one person has died, and more than 350 buildings have been destroyed.
In Natimuk alone, over 8,000 hectares of land have been burnt. The hot weather (over 40 degrees!) and strong winds made the fires spread quickly.
